Our commitment
Reel Raven takes anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorist financing (CTF) obligations seriously. We follow the standards set by the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) and the requirements of our licensing authority in Anjouan.
Customer Due Diligence (CDD)
All players are subject to identity verification (KYC) before their first withdrawal and at any time during the player lifecycle when triggered by risk indicators. Required documents typically include:
- A government-issued photo ID (passport, national ID card or driving license).
- Proof of address dated within the last three months (utility bill, bank statement or government letter).
- Proof of payment method (front of card with first 6 and last 4 digits visible, or e-wallet screenshot).
- Selfie holding the photo ID, when requested.
Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD)
For high-volume players, politically exposed persons (PEPs), or transactions exceeding regulatory thresholds, we require additional documentation including source-of-funds and source-of-wealth evidence such as recent payslips, tax returns, bank statements, or business records.
Transaction monitoring
All deposits, withdrawals and gameplay are monitored automatically and manually for suspicious patterns. Unusual activity may trigger account freezes pending review. Confirmed suspicious activity is reported to the relevant authorities as required by law.
Player protections
- Withdrawals are paid back to the same method used for deposit wherever technically possible.
- Player funds are held separately from operational funds.
- We do not accept cash deposits or third-party payments.
- All staff handling player accounts complete annual AML training.
Sanctions screening
We screen all players against international sanctions lists at registration and on an ongoing basis. Players appearing on these lists will be unable to use the platform.
Reporting
Internal staff are required to report any suspicions of money laundering to our Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO), who reviews and escalates to the licensing authority and law enforcement where appropriate.
